Fight Flu and Colds with Essential Oils

Hello Friends! 

Thanks for all your feedback and words of encouragement that I have been receiving on a regular basis.  I appreciate you taking the time to join the conversation.

Hope you had a great Summer and did all the fun activities the law allowed outdoors.  Fall is on its way out and most of us know what that means...Snow! Flurries!...so get ready to bundle up!

As we prepare once again for the Winter Season,  some of us are planning to "abandon" home and run off to some warmer climates (good for you), but for those of us who just have to "sick it out".

Preparing for Winter

Hi there!  
I hope you enjoyed the short season of Fall even as you reminisced the summer months which seemed to have taken quick flight.  Fall for me is a lovely time of year that brings us the splendor of color,  but it certainly went by too quickly.  I feel like I did not get enough of the oranges, browns, yellows to prepare me for the colder months ahead.  Yes, Winter has definitely arrived too soon.  Anyways, I hope you are taking steps to boost your Immune System, to combat the flu and colds expected at this time of year.

I have to admit that I'm having some challenges writing on a more regular basis, as life sure gets in the way sometimes. "Spring Cleaning" the Body

If you are hopeful and you anticipate that Spring Season will be upon us in the next few weeks, then have you thought of ways to  "spring" your body into the season! 
Yes!  I'm talking about  "spring cleaning" the body.  I know...I know... so many products/recommendations for taking care of the stomach and colon. In case you are wondering why is a cleanse necessary. 
Well let me ask: " have you been constipated lately or for that matter do you know if you are constipated sometimes or all the time?

Reflexology and Breast Cancer

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Researchers at Michigan State University are finding that many women who are receiving chemotherapy while in the late stages of breast cancer are turning to a complementary therapy known as reflexology to help them cope.
In a pilot study, researchers from MSU’s College of Nursing tested three different complementary therapies – reflexology, guided imagery and reminiscence therapy, in which women recall times in their lives when they’ve met and overcome challenges. Of those three, reflexology proved to be the most effective.

The Adrenal Glands(Adrenals) which are found above the kidneys, play a major role in  overseeing all hormone functioning .  Each has an inner medulla (10%-20% of Gland) surrounded by an outer cortex (80%-90% of Gland),  both of which secrete several different hormones which  play acentral role in maintaining the body's energy levels.
Aldosterone maintain proper fluid levels in kidney cellsby regulating amounts of cellular sodium and potassium, Cortisol promote protein breakdown, regulate insulin and glycogen synthesis and help produceProstaglandin, DHEA, and Pregnenolone, Adrenaline and Noradrenaline  (Catecholamines) affect heart rate, blood vessels, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, lungs, bladder, skin, fat cells, liver, pancreas and eyes.

It is recommended that Calluses are removed by a qualified foot specialist, such a  Podiatrist.

1. Setting Goals is the first step in attempting resolutions. Being passionate about your goal is a motivation for success. So let your goal beone that will get you out of your comfort zone but will not be too stressful for you.
